ወደ አገር ለሚገቡ የዳያስፖራ አባላት የተዘጋጁ ሁነቶች ይፋ ሆኑ
ታህሳስ 18 ቀን 2014 (ኢዜአ) ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር አቢይ አህመድ አንድ ሚሊዮን ዳያስፖራ ወደ አገር ቤት በሚል ያቀረቡትን ጥሪ ተከትሎ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ለሚመጡ የዳያስፖራ አባላት የተዘጋጁ የተለያዩ ሁነቶች ይፋ ሆኑ።
የሚመጡ እንግዶች አቀባበልና መስተንግዶ ለማስተባበር የተቋቋመው ብሔራዊ ኮሚቴ የተደረገውን ዝግጅት በተመለከተ ዛሬ መግለጫ ሰጥቷል።
ወደ አገራቸው የሚመጡ ኢትዮጵያውያንና ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያን እንዲሁም የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆችን ለመቀበል ዝግጅት የተጠናቀቀ ሲሆን የተዘጋጁ ሁነቶችን ኮሚቴው ይፋ አድርጋል።
በዚህም መሰረት ታህሳስ 20 ቀን የመክፈቻ መርሀ ግብር ይካሄዳል።
ታህሳስ 24 ቀን ደግሞ በአዲስ አበባ የሚገኙ ፕሮጀክቶች ጉብኝት፣ ከታህሳስ 25 እስከ 27 በጦርነቱ የተጎዱ አካባቢዎችን ጉብኝት ማካሄድና ሌሎች መርሀ ግብሮችም ይፋ ተደርገዋል።
ዳያስፓራው አገርን መልሶ ለመገንባት ሊያደርገው በሚችለው አስተዋፅኦ፣ ኢንቨስትመንትና ሌሎች ሲፖዚየሞችም በመርሀ ግብሩ ተካተዋል።
የሚካሄዱት ሁነቶች የሚካሄዱበት ቀን እንደ አስፈላጊቱ ሊከለስ እንደሚችልም ተጠቁሟል።

ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር አቢይ አህመድ
ሀገር በአንድ ግዙፍ ቤተሰብ ሊመሰል ይችላል። አንድ ቤተሰብ የቆመበት መሠረት ጥንካሬ የሚታወቀው ከደስታ ጊዜያት ይልቅ ቤተሰቡ ችግር በገጠመው ወቅት ነው። የፈተና መብዛት አንዳንዱን ቤተሰብ ሲያቀራርበው አንዳንዱን ያራርቀዋል፡፡
ደካማ መሠረት ያለው ቤተሰብ ውስጥ አደጋ ሲከሰት በቤተሰቡ አባላት መካከል ልዩነቶች አፍጥጠው ይታያሉ፤ ቅሬታዎች ከተደበቁበት ይወጣሉ፤ ጣት መቀሳሰር ይበዛል፤ ልጆች ፈተናውን ተጋግዘው በጋራ ከማለፍ ይልቅ “ምን አገባኝ” ሲሉ ይደመጣሉ። የዚያ ቤተሰብ እጣ ፈንታም በመጨረሻ መፍረስ ይሆናል።
በተቃራኒው ጠንካራ መሠረት ላይ ለቆመ ቤተሰብ የፈተና መምጣት አንድነቱን ያጠናክራል እንጂ አያላላውም። ልዩነቶች ቢኖሩ እንኳን ለጊዜው ወደ ጎን ተብለው የቤተሰቡ አባላት ሙሉ ትኩረት ፈተናው ወደሚታለፍበት መንገድ ያነጣጥራል።
ሁሉም እንደ አቅሙ የቻለውን ይታገላል። መውደቅ መነሳቱን እኩል ተካፍለው በመጨረሻ ችግሩ ሲታለፍ ሁሉም እኩል ደስተኛ ይሆናሉ። ይኽ ወቅት ለኢትዮጵያ እንደ ሀገር በእጀጉ የተፈተነችበት ጊዜ ነው። ፈታኞቿ ተባብረው ረፍት ሊነሷት ያልፈነቀሉት ቋጥኝ፣ ያልወረወሩት ድንጋይ የለም።
ኢትዮጵያ ግን በልጆቿ ትብብር አሁንም ጸንታ ቆማለች። የፈተና መብዛት የልጆቿን አንድነት አጎለበተው እንጂ አልሸረሸረውም። አቅሞቿን አስተባብራ እንድትጠቀም ምክንያት ሆናት እንጂ አላሸነፋትም።
በመላው ዓለም የሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ዳያስፖራዎች ሀገራችን ሰው በፈለገችበት ጊዜ ለሀገራቸው የቁርጥ ቀን ልጆች መሆናቸውን አስመስክረዋል ብለን በድፍረት መናገር እንችላለን።
አንዳንዶች ኢትዮጵያን ለመድፈር በተነሡ ጊዜ፣ ሌሎች የኢትዮጵያን እውነት በውሸት ለመሸፈን በተነሡ ጊዜ፣ የቀሩትም በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ተገቢ ያልሆነ ጫና ለማሳደር በተነሡ ጊዜ፣ ዳያስፖራ ወገኖቻችን ለኢትዮጵያ ሲሉ በአንድነት ቆመዋል።
የፖለቲከኞችን በሮች አንኳኩተዋል። አደባባዮችን በሰልፍ አጥለቅልቀዋል፤ ታላላቅ ተቋማትን ሞግተዋል፤ የመሪዎችን የተሳሳተ ፖሊሲ ተጋፍጠዋል፤ ሚዲያዎች የኢትዮጵያን እውነት እንዲያንጸባርቁ ጫና ፈጥረዋል።
ዳያስፖራ ወገኖቻችን ለኢትዮጵያ ብቁ ዲፕሎማት ሆነው ሀገራቸውን አስከብረዋል። ለታላቁ የሕዳሴ ግድባችን ጥብቅና ከመቆም ባሻገር ገንዘባቸው በመላክ የግድቡ ሥራ እንዲፋጠን አስችለዋል።
ለተጎዱ ወገኖቻችን በየጊዜው የዓይነትና የገንዘብ ድጋፍ አድርገዋል። የኢትዮጵያ የውጭ ምንዛሪ ባልተገባ ጫና በተፈተነ ጊዜ ከሚበሉት ቀንሰው ለሀገራቸው ለግሰዋል።
ሀገራቸው የህልውና ፈተና ሲገጥማት በቻሉት ሁሉ ግንባር ቀደም ሆነው ተሰልፈዋል። በማኅበራዊ ሚዲያ የሚገጥመንን ፈተና ለመመከት ጊዜያቸውንና ዕውቀታቸውን ሠዉተዋል።
ብዙ የዓለም ሀገሮች ከዳያስፖራ ወገኖቻቸው ጋር የፈጠሩት ጠንካራ ትሥሥር ሀገራቸውን በፖለቲካ፣ በኢኮኖሚ፣ በዲፕሎማሲና በማኅበራዊ መስክ ለማሳደግ ጠቅሟቸዋል።
ደቡብ ኮሪያ፣ ሕንድ፣ ቻይናና ሜክሲኮ ለዚህ መልካም አርአያዎች ናቸው። እነዚህ ሀገሮች የተማረ የሰው ኃይል ለማግኘት፣ የሀገራቸውን የውጭ ምንዛሬ ዐቅም ለማሳደግ፣ በየሚኖሩበት ሀገር በሀገራቸው ጉዳይ የፖሊሲ ጫና ለማሳደር፤ የቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ለማድረግ፤ የሀገራቸው ጉዳይ የሚኖሩበት ሀገር የውጭ ፖሊሲ አካል እንዲሆን ለማስቻል፤ ቁሳዊና ሰብኣዊ ድጋፎችን ለማሰባሰብ፤ የትምህርት፣ የጤናና የግብርና ሥርዓታቸውን ለማዘመን ተጠቅመውበታል።
ከላይ የጠቀስናቸው ሀገሮች የዳያስፖራቸውን ዐቅም በተሻለ ሁኔታ ለመጠቀም ያስቻለው ዘላቂነት ያለው፣ የተደራጀና የተናበበ አሠራር ስለሚከተሉ ነው። ዳያስፖራዎቻቸው ከሀገራቸው ጋር ያላቸው ግንኙነት ዘላቂ ነው። የሆኑ ወቅቶችን መሠረት ያደረገ አይደለም።
በደስታም ይሁን በፈተና ጊዜ ሀገራቸውን ሁለንተናዊ በሆነ መልኩ ይደግፋሉ። በፖሊሲዎች፣ በሕጎች፣ በአሠራሮች ሂደት ውስጥ ይሳተፋሉ።
ገንዘባቸውን በሀገራቸው ባንኮች እንዲቀመጥ ያደርጋሉ፤ በኢንቨስመንት ይሳተፋሉ፤በችግር ጊዜ ለወገናቸው ድጋፍ የሚያደርጉ ታላላቅ የርዳታ ድርጅቶችን በመመሥረት በርዳታ ስም ከሚመጣ ጣልቃ ገብነት ሀገራቸውን ነጻ ያደርጋሉ፤ ለገበሬዎችና ለአነስተኛ ነጋዴዎች የዕውቀት፣ የቴክኖሎጂና የገንዘብ ድጋፍ የሚሰጡ የልማት ማሣለጫ ተቋማትን ያደራጃሉ፤ በተለይም ትምህርትን፣ ጤናንና ግብርናን ለማዘመን የሚችሉ የዕውቀትና የቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግሮችን በማከናወን የሕዝባቸውን የኑሮ ሁኔታ ለማሻሻል ይተጋሉ፤ ይህ ሁሉ እንግዲህ ለዘመድና ለወዳጆቻቸው ከሚያደርጉት ድጋፍ ባሻገር ነው።
እነዚህን ተግባራት ለማከናወን ዐቅምን ሰብሰብ ማድረግ፣ ወጥ በሆነ መልኩ ሥራዎችን መሥራትና በዕቅድ መመራት ያስፈልጋል። ዐቅሞቻችን በየአካባቢውና በየሁኔታው ከተበታተኑ፣ መሠረታዊ ለውጥ መምጣት አይቻልም።
በምንኖርበት ሀገር ተጽዕኖ ለመፍጠር ያለን ዐቅም የተዳከመ ይሆናል። እርስ በእርሳችን ተጋግዘን በፍጥነት ከመሄድ ይልቅ እርስ በእርሳችን በመወቃቀስ ጊዜያችን በከንቱ ይጠፋል።
ዳያስፖራ ወገኖቻችን እነዚህን ሁሉ እንደሚያስቡባቸው ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ። በየሀገራቸው ከሚኖሩ ሌሎች ጠንካራ የዳያስፖራ ማኅበረሰቦች ልምድ መውሰድ እንደሚችሉ ይታመናል።
ለሀገራቸው መጠን የሌለው ፍቅር፤ ሀገራቸውና ወገኖቻቸውን በሚችሉት ሁሉ የመደገፍ የማይነጥፍ ፍላጎት አላቸው። ይሄንንም በየአደባባዩ አስመስክረዋል።
ሕይወታቸውን መሥዋዕት ለማድረግ እስከመሰለፍ ደርሰዋል። ሀገራቸው ‹ወደ እናት ሀገራቸሁ አንድ ሚልዮን ሆናችሁ ኑ!› ስትላቸውም፣ ጨርቄን ማቄን ሳይሉ ይሄው መጥተዋል።
አሁንም በድጋሚ ጥሪያችንን አክብራችሁ ስለመጣችሁ በራሴና በኢትዮጵያ ስም አመሰግናችኋለሁ። የመጣችሁት ወደ ቤታችሁ ነው። እናታችሁ በጓዳዋ ያላትን ሁሉ ታቀርብላችኋለች።
የምታቀርብላችሁ ነገር የተሟላ ላይሆን ይችላል። ግን የእናት ቤት ከምንም ይበልጣል። በየመሥሪያ ቤቱ፣ በየንግድ ተቋማቱ በየአገልግሎት መስጫዎቹ የለመዳችሁትን ዓይነት ቀልጣፋና ዘመናዊ አሠራር ባታገኙ አይግረማችሁ። የእናታችሁ ቤት ነውና እንዴት እናዘምነው ብላችሁ አስቡበት እንጂ እንደ ባዳ አይታችሁ አትለፉት። ሰው ለእናቱ ቤት ይቆረቆራል እንጂ አይማረርም።
የተጎዱ አካባቢዎችን እንድትጎበኙ፤ ወገናችሁን እንድታንጹና እንድትደግፉ አደራ እላለሁ።አሸባሪው ሕወሐት በወገናችን ላይ ያደረሰውን ልክ የሌለው ግፍና መከራ በዓይናችሁ አይታችሁ ዓይኔን ግንባር ያርገው ላለው ዓለም እንድትገልጡ ላሳስባችሁ እወዳለሁ። አንዳንድ ተቋማት ባዘጋጇቸው መርሐ ግብሮችም ላይ ተሳተፉ።
የቱሪስት መዳረሻዎችንም ጎብኙ። የልማት ሥራዎቻችንንም ተመልከቱ። ከሁሉም በላይ ደግሞ ከወላጆቻችሁ፣ ከዘመዶቻችሁና ከወዳጆቻችሁ ጋር መልካም ጊዜ አሳልፉ። ሀዘኑንም ደስታውንም እኩል መጋራታችን ቤተሰባዊ መሠረታችንን ያጠናክረዋል፡፡
መልካም የቆይታ ጊዜ ይሁንላችሁ።

ወደ አገር ቤት የገቡ የዳያስፖራ አባላት በሚንቀሳቀሱባቸው ሥፍራዎች ሁሉ የጸጥታ እና ደህንነት ስጋት እንዳይገጥማቸው ዝግጅት ማድረጉን የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን አስታወቀ።
‘የአንድ ሚሊዮን ዳያስፖራ ወደ አገር ቤት’ ጥሪ ተከትሎ ኢትዮጵያዊያን፣ ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊያንና የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆች ወደ አገር ቤት በመግባት ላይ ናቸው።
የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን ሕዝብ ግንኙነት ኃላፊ ኮማንደር ፋሲካ ፋንታ የዳያስፖራ አባላቱ በመዲናዋ ያለ ምንም ስጋት መንቀሳቀስ እንዲችሉ ፖሊስ በቂ ዝግጅት ማድረጉን ለኢዜአ ገልጸዋል።
ከአየር መንገድ ጀምሮ በሚያርፉባቸው ሆቴሎች፣ በመዝናኛ ቦታዎች፣ በንግድ ማዕከላት፣ በትራንስፖርት እና ሌሎች ሥፍራዎች ሳይታወኩ እንዲንቀሳቀሱ የጸጥታ ኃይሉ አስፈላጊውን ዝግጅት አድርጓል ብለዋል።

Ethiopian Airlines Offering The Great Ethiopian Homecoming Discount
As of December 20 Ethiopian Airlines current discount information are as follows
- It is time to visit Ethiopia and spend an unforgettable time with your family and loved ones. Ethiopian has offered special discounts from 20% to 30% for all flights to Addis Ababa from all over the world.
- You can buy your ticket until December 25, 2021, and travel anytime in January 2022.
- Ethiopian is also offering unlimited free date change for all tickets issued before 31 December 2021 and for travel up to 31 March 2022.
Change requests can be performed through:-
1, Ethiopian Airlines sales offices
2, Global Customer Interaction Center (GCIC) and
3, The agencies from which the ticket was purchased.
- For tickets originally purchased online (Ethiopian website and Mobile application), change request can be performed online.
Terms and conditions
- Reservation/Booking shall be cancelled, and ticket shall be exchanged with new travel date at least one day before departure of originally scheduled flight date to be exempted from no-show fee.

December 18/2021 (ENA) The Great Ethiopian Homecoming Challenge is a huge opportunity to manifest the true image of Ethiopia to the rest of the world as 1 million diaspora and friends of Ethiopia would be heading to visit the country by January 7, according to Ethiopian Tourism Professionals Association (ETPA).
A massive influx of visitors is expected in the homecoming as everyone with an African origin is an invitee and the Ethiopian Diaspora are also encouraged to bring at least 1 non-African person.
Following the call of the prime minister to Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia all over the world to join the Great Ethiopian Homecoming Challenge, the nation is preparing to welcome over one million people, it was learned.
In an exclusive interview with ENA, Acting Manager of Ethiopian Tourism Professionals Association (ETPA) Minyamir Asrat said preparations have been undertaken to welcome and host the visitors in collaboration with all actors in the tourism sector.
“As tourism professionals association, we will provide consultations services on how to welcome the diaspora community and friends of Ethiopia for tourist guides, operators, companies, and other service providers in the sector,” he added.
Noting the huge responsibility entrusted on every stakeholder in the sector, the acting manager stressed that Ethiopia comes before everything else and the collaborative efforts will definitely make the event historic.
“We know 1 million is a huge number. But if we work in a more cohesive manner, it could be remarkably productive and historic. On our part, we are ready to make our guests happy.”
According to the acting manger, the Great Ethiopian homecoming is crucial to erase the recent fabricated images of the nation by some Western actors and to counter the coordinated and unwarranted defamation on Ethiopia.
Minyamir further said, “My message for all service providing institutions, private companies and all actors involved in the sector is that they need to strive to change the image of the nation and counter the recent unwarranted defamation from Western countries.”
The acting manager believes that the calls for the diaspora and friends of Ethiopia to come home comes at crucial time when Ethiopia needs its true children, friends and all longstanding partners near and afar.
“So, all service providers and Ethiopians at home have to be seize this opportunity to promote the true face of the nation for the rest of the world with pride and dignity,” he underscored.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed initiated what is called the “Great Ethiopian Homecoming Challenge” as the country has been fighting against unwarranted external pressure, mainly orchestrated by some Western countries.
