Where To Go
Best places to visit in Ethiopia. Book a tour with us.
Addis Ababa
Experience many of Addis Ababa’s highlights and catch amazing views of Ethiopia’s capital city from atop Enoto Park. Explore important landmarks like the 15th-century church and Rastafarian pilgrimage site St. George Cathedral. Visit the National Museum, where the 3 million-year-old fossil of Lucy is kept, and Merkato, the giant open-air market.
Gonder City
Gondar is situated at 12.60 latitude and 37.47 longitude at an elevation of 2201 meters above sea level. Gondar is also known as the “Camelot” of Africa, nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking Semien Mountains National Park. Gondar was the 17th and 18th-century capital city of Ethiopia, which was founded by Emperors Fasiladas (1632 – 1667). It was home to a number of emperors & warlords, curtsies and kings who built several castles and palaces in the area.
Bahir Dar
Bahir Dar is situated on Lake Tana, which is dotted with island monasteries some dating back to the 14th century. Its 30 odd islands represent today a unique natural habitat for plant life. The Blue Nile Falls are a waterfall on the Blue Nile River in Ethiopia. They are situated on the upper course of the river, about 30 kilometers downstream from the town of BahirDar and Lake Tana.
Wenchi Crater lake
Leave the city’s bustling streets for Wenchi Crater Lake, and enjoy the serenity of rolling farmland, lush valleys and waterfalls on a full-day tour from Addis Ababa to the heart of an extinct volcano. Take in views of the lake shore from a peaceful dock, with the chance to hike or ride a mule along the shore, or set out by boat to explore the lake’s small islands.
